L2TP for Mac Sierra

Step-by-step guide on how to connect to VPN service of SwordVPN.

  1. Open Network preferences
  2. Create a new network Interface
    Press "Plus" at the bottom
  3. Create an L2TP Device
  4. Enter server address and username
  5. Enter L2TP shared secret: VPN
  6. Send all traffic over VPN connection
  7. Connect to VPN server

If you have successfully connected but still have a problem with access to the resource, you can also try to change your DNS addresses.

  • Preferred address — 8.8.8.8
  • Alternate address — 8.8.4.4
